Basecamp Desktop Application – Adobe AIR

Wouldn’t it be great to have a desktop app or widget for Basecamp? I agree. I don’t use a Mac (I use Windows), so I’m currently SOL. But, someone’s trying to change that. Take a look at this post: “Basecamp Widget for Adobe AIR” and submit a comment if you’d like an AIR app that can be brought to Windows. Personally, such a desktop application for Basecamp could greatly improve the speed with which I use it, how much I can get done from a project management and communication perspective. Although I think the web interface is fantastic, there are some limitations, and a desktop app could help minimize those limitations.

So go vote!
