Our mission is to provide a comprehensive resource for small businesses to run as efficiently as possible using the web, web apps, phone apps – technology! What does that mean? Well, this site is for project managers, sales personele or company executives looking to implement project management, CRM, or any software that can help their business. We provide comprehensive reviews on these business tools and articles on how best to implement them.

Alright, serious stuff out of the way. You see what I did in the previous paragraphs? Highlight PRO & MANA in the words project management? That’s our name, and that’s how it was birthed. In the crazy mind of me…
My name is Zach.
I am a web developer & entrepreneur.
I’ve been running a small company in Southwest Florida for over half a decade! I’ve been honing how I say that for many years – it sounds like a long time doesn’t it? At one point, when it was under 5 years I liked to say “for nearly half a decade!” My company was doing extremely well right before the collapse of the economy, but I truly feel it was only with the implementation of some core tools that our company has been able to weather the storm. Regardless of whether you’re doing well, or not, I feel it is always important to make your company more efficient – for your peace of mind, your employees, and your clients. That’s why I started this website.
Well, backtracking just a bit, this wasn’t always a website, and this wasn’t always called “ProMana.”
In 2008 I started a blog dedicated to using the project management tool Basecamp and after a year of posting my stories, tips, etc. on what I’ve found to be effective project management and people management techniques, the blog exploded. I have since setup and transfered everything to this, ProMana.net and expanded into discussions on CRM software as well.
How I Review
By the seat of my pants. Seriously. I feel my readers have come to enjoy my writing style and I will always stay true to providing an unbiased opinion on the software and services I check out. It has been my job over the last 10 years, at my current company, and past employers, to manage people, coordinate sales & projects, and get results (for our clients and our business). This is the light in which I review every product or service on ProMana.
How I Make Money
One of the big ways this website makes money is through affiliate marketing. If you’re unfamiliar with affiliate marketing essentially it is referral marketing. If you come to this website and then purchase one of the products/services via the link I provide I receive credit and a commission. In the spirit of full disclosure I will be adding and joining affiliate programs whenever possible. But, I will NOT base any of my reviews on the compensation I receive from these companies.
To date I have made quite a bit of money via the affiliate marketing of Basecamp. I continue to use (and pay for) this software every day for my company and truly believe it has been a godsend. However, there are a lot more solutions out there now that I will be reviewing and may consider switching.
